Dependency Cases

Dependency Cases are ones in which the State (in Florida through Department of Children and Families) has intervened and may be seeking to take your children.  Attorney Joy believes strongly that families should be kept together whenever possible and will work to find appropriate alternatives which may allow the children to remain in the home or, at minimum, in the home of a close family member. 

We will work closely with the family to give a parent skills which may be needed to become a more healthy family moving forward.
